May 23, 2026"We visited Fettuccine Mario in Pilar as a family of four for dinner on a quiet Monday night. We were warmly greeted at the door by the host, who showed us to our table and later took the time to share the story of the restaurant’s owner, which added a really nice personal touch. To start, we ordered the burrata, tortilla, and ham—all cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. For our main courses, we enjoyed the gnocchi with Mario sauce, the lamb ravioli, the spaghetti puttanesca, and the carbonara. Each dish was flavorful, fresh, and prepared with care. For dessert, we had the sabayone and the panqueque con dulce de leche, which were the perfect way to end the meal. The service throughout the evening was incredible—attentive yet not intrusive. We were also shown the upstairs section of the restaurant, which gave us a deeper appreciation of its charm and history. Their wine selection was excellent and extensive, with options to suit every taste. Prices were very fair given the high quality of the food, service, and overall experience. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Pilar."
